UNDERSTANDING THE ISSUES
Wildside specialises in conservation, science and sustainable tourism. We are one of the key film units for Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. In recent months, we have filmed for the Zoological Society of London, the government of Saint Helena, the Albatross Task Force, BirdLife International and New Zealand’s Department of Conservation. We film in some of the most fragile habitats on Earth, from tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia to river deltas in West Africa and the Arctic tundra.
Among the natural history and conservation videos in recent years are key advocacy films (with social media versions) for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.
These were shot deep within in Sumatra and isolated islands in the South Atlantic. One of the programmes, was narrated by British television star Alan Titchmarsh.
The Harapan film caught the attention of the Danish government and resulted in multi-million euro support for the project.

CONSERVATION
"Working with Gill and Steve at Wildside Productions was fantastic. They produced a beautiful and well-judged short film for us that has been incredibly useful in raising the profile of our conservation work and the plight of the NZ hihi."
Dr Patricia Brekke, Conservation Scientist, Zoological Society of London (ZSL)
